The Amazing Fun Cricket

In Te Maunga we have been doing cricket. In cricket I learnt how to throw the ball properly. It was not regular cricket it was speed cricket. We got into groups and the fielding team had to try to catch the ball.  The batting team has to hit the ball then the next person comes.

We had to  name all the shapes that we used to build  the castle. The second task was we build some shapes out of little sticks. We used Blu-Tack to glue them together. I made a cube and a diamond then the other task was we got to make shapes out of nets.

Treasure Hunt

In Te Maunga on the 28th of August we had a big treasure hunt. We had to find these little gumboots. Inside of the boots were headphones, a bag of lollies, a chicken and chips pack from Four Square, soccer ball, ice cream pie and $5 dollars. We were raising money for Sam Godsiff-Johnson and the Charity I Am Hope .

Cybersmart

In Te Maunga we have been learning how to keep safe on the internet. We created  a Google Drawing and thought of all the things that we could keep safe on the internet.  Here are three examples I learnt. If you have an account on Facebook make sure you know who you're talking to because they might track your location. Don't tell people on the internet  that you're going away for a long time because they might find your location and steal some of your stuff. Don't take pictures of you on Facebook or social media they might tell from the background where your house is and rob you.
