Action World

On Tuesday the seniors went to Action World.We walked to Action World. After we got there a lady named Carol helped us figure out who was going on the water slide and who was playing. The girls got to go on the water slide first and the boys got to play. If you did not have togs you had to play mini golf. After an hour the boys got to go on the slide and the girls got to go play. We each got an hour to play on the slide. I went on the tightrope, trapeze and I was climbing the wall. You had to ring the bell. After the boys finished their  turn on the slide we went back to school.

How a Plant Grows

HI my name is Poet. In my class we have been learning about plants I made an animation about popcorn. I had to show how the popcorn grows in the animation that I was making.I made it rain for the plant can have water and I made sunny.

Eectricity

Today we had to make a makerspace about electricity we had to get in groups of six. The people in my group were Jacob, Anika,

Jaelyn- Marie, Ebony, Sammy and I.  Our group went up to a table and we had to make electricity. We had for lemons, 10 cent coins, nails and little alligator clippers.First we grabbed 4 lemons next we put in 10 cents coins we needed to  put the coins on different sides, we put the one coin in each lemon. Next we grabbed a lemon with a coin in it and on the other side we had to put in a nail. Next we put on the little alligator clippers on the nails then we grabbed another lemon with a coin in it. Next we had to try to make it into a circle made then at the end we had to put a little light.  

Today we have been doing some Cyber smart we had to take five screen shot of the online sites that we are allowed on.

Time DLO

I learnt that I learnt that there are 48 hour in 2 days.Also  I learnt that the big long hand is the minutes and the little hand is the hour.There are 60 seconds in a minute.

Project Energize

I learnt about the four food groups.There is dairy,meat,vegetables and fruit and grains.Also I learnt that the big  chips are better than the little chips because it the big chips absorb less oil. Also I learnt that Coca-Cola has a lot of  sugar and water and milk is good for you.

Cross Country

On Friday the 30th of August  we had Cross Country. We ran at  Bledisloe domain.I came 1st place in Cross Country. I enjoyed doing my best in running but I didn't enjoy running up a hill at the domain.We practiced  around the school field.I improved my time during practice.
